PRE and POST COMP ACTIVITIES
Pre Pre Party - Aug 16, 2018 - Downtown Salt Lake City Salty Pub Crawl
This is a Pre Pre Party for any out of towners coming in early to get a little extra Salty. This year we will be hosting a pub crawl in downtown Salt Lake City that will end the night in song and games. We will be taking the Trax Green Line from the Decker Lake Station at 5:39. This is a 12 minute walk for those of you who are staying at the Sleep Inn. We will be getting off at the Gallivan Plaza Station. We will be posting our check ins at each stop so that any stragglers will be able to catch up easily.
Our line up for the evening will be:
Whiskey Street - 6:00 pm
Bar X, Beer Bar, Johnnie's on Second - 7:15 pm
Keys on Main - 9:00 pm
Quarters - 10:00 pm
Last train to West Valley - 11:45 pm.
Whiskey Street- offering a wide selection of whiskies, beers, craft cocktails, and upscale food. We will spend 60 minuets here.
From there we will wander 9 minutes to "The Trifecta" what some of us refer to it as. This is a row of establishments that are all next to each other. This includes:
Bar X- fine craft cocktails
Beer Bar- some of the largest beer offerings in Salt Lake City. They also offer a varied selection of brats and frites.
Johnnie's on Second- one of downtown Salt Lake's staples which features the $4 shot and beer special.
We will spend 90 minutes here at the Trifecta.
Our next stop is a quick 7 minute walk to Keys On Main. Keys On Main is Salt Lake's premier dueling piano bar. Be sure to bring some cash if you want to request or stop a song that is performed by the talented in house artists.
We will spend an hour here and head to our next stop; but if you are having a good time and don't want to leave, feel free to stay here as we will be just a 4 minute walk away from Quarters
Quarters is one of the newest bars in Salt Lake and is the only arcade bar in Salt Lake City; featuring several classic arcade games and a few new ones also.
The last train back leaves the Gallivan Plaza Station at 11:45. If we are out later then that, Salt Lake is very Lyft and Uber friendly. See you there!
Pre Party and Meet and Greet - Aug 17, 2018 - The Tram Club, Snowbird, Utah
This is the meet and greet for the 4th Annual Snowbird Oktoberfest Beard And Moustache Competition. Come and mingle with the special guest judges and fellow competitors from around the country the night before the big competition.

After Competition Tram Ride - Aug 18, 2018 - The Tram on the Snowbird Plaza
After the competition, all the competitors are invited to the top of the mountain via the tram for a group photo, and an experience you'll remember for a lifetime. Stay tuned for more details, better yet, come to the competition and specific announcements will be made at that time.
Pool Party - Aug 18, 2018 - The Lodge at Snowbird Pool After dinner and after the tram ride, most of the competitors staying at the hotel will spend time in the spa and pool decompressing from the busy day.
Post Party - Aug 18, 2018 - Snowbird Center Plaza Deck The Ultimate Form of Competition Decompression. Join your fellow beardsmen and women out on the plaza for snacks and post competition bonding.
Early Bird Hangover Brunch - Aug 19. 2018 - 9 am thru 12 pm - The Forklift Restaurant, Snowbird, Utah
Come have breakfast before heading back on the road. If you're an early bird or a late riser, catching up on some z's after a fun night on the Snowbird Center Plaza Deck, breakfast will be an ongoing event form 9am until Noon, meet up and say farewell.
Oktoberfest Fun - Aug. 19, 2018 - 12pm at the MainTent, Snowbird, Utah
For those of you who are staying Sunday, we will be hanging out in the main tent for food, fun, and drinks. This is a family friendly event so start practicing your chicken dance and yodeling!
